HTTP\/2 is the next generation of the HTTP protocol that was based on Google’s SPDY Protocol. Its predecessor HTTP\/1.1 has served the web well for over 15 years, but as websites have changed somewhat over the last decade it was time to revise HTTP to fit with modern more demanding websites.<\/p>\n
HTTP\/2 enabled servers automatically use HTTP\/2 instead of HTTP\/1.1 when the\u00a0website has an SSL Certificate in place.<\/p>\n
